Today's show marks our 7 year anniversary. It's been a long time, but honestly the hobby hasn't changed too much since my time on the airway. On today's show I talk about the NBA draft and Summer League. I also talk about Panini's "RIP" Party at the National, plus a digital product they have in the works. Finally I discuss some offseason money making ideas since there's not a lot going on in the sports card world.

I've been out of the modern card loop the last month, but have been in a buying mood. I talk about how I've flipped cards on COMC to help buy 2 cards I wanted. Then I have 5 NFL cards that I think should be in any collection. 

On today's show we talk briefly about Collector Crate going under and my weekend at the TriStar card show. Then we get to a really informative interview with Val from www.nascardradio.com where we discuss all things NASCAR trading cards. One of the cool things we talk about is how many NASCAR drivers will sign items TTM - including NASCAR/racing legend Richard Petty. On today's show we talk about Panini's latest high end football set that is ripping off collectors. I discuss some more stock tips/advice early on in the show. I discuss the card show I will be attending this weekend. Briefly discuss Topps' first attempt at group breaking. Finally, I give 4 'vintage' basketball cards that I think can be the cornerstone of your basketball card collection for years to come. 

On today's show I discuss some of the happenings around the hobby the last few weeks. Topps recalled the entire 2015 Topps Tribute baseball set due to 'UV Contamination' ... whatever that is. Ebay is taking care of it's shareholders and affiliates with a fee change, so I give you the reasons why that is good for you and how you can use ebay if you are a seller. I talk about the Industry Summit returning to Hawaii next year and more.

On today's show we bring on my brother Ryan @SportsCardNews who just happens to be chilling in Vegas the same time the 2015 Las Vegas Industry Summit is going on at the beautiful property known as the Tuscany Suites. With no show floor and record low attendance, find out what saved the event from going away for good. Also find out what group breakers have been asking @SportsCardNews since he arrived. Also we discuss other news & events around the hobby.

Finally, the Cardboard Connection podcast is no longer .... maybe they'll make a comeback like some athletes have, but if not we wish them well.
