8/19/08 UPDATE:
Not a bad month! Out of the 6 Baseball Prospects I shouted out, 2 Got a Call-Up. Jon Jay was called up to Cardinals AAA and at last check was doing quite well. Pablo Sandoval went straight from AA to the BIGS! We have yet to see September Call-Ups, I think McCutchen and Jay have an outside chance of getting a Call-Up with the lead going to Andrew McCutchen because the Pirates could maybe use him in the OF.
Triunfel, Conger, West, Have next to a zero shot at getting called up to the MLB, however sometimes Minor League Hype is just as good.
Robert Meachem has received some Pub recently on the Networks, we’ll see how he and the New Orleans Saints do.

This prospect’s name is Tim Alderson. He plays for the San Jose Giants (A Advanced for the SF Giants). He is only 19 years old and through 139.1 innings this year he has 117 SO and 34 BB. Also, he is 12-4 with a 2.91 ERA. Opponents are hitting. 238 against him. His biggest stat though is that he has given up only 4 HR through the 139.1 IP. In his last 10 he is 6-1 with a 2.40 ERA and 52 SO and 9 BB.

I will give everyone a heads up on the Prospects I have lined up for Show #14. I have a large baseball prospect segment planned so tune in!!
This one comes from Mike from ID, Pedro Ciriaco, D-Backs SS/2B–Was named in the Top 25 of the MLN FAB50 List.
A Couple of Giants: Madison Bumgarner for obvious reasons-Pitcher of the year..ect…Great Young Left Handed Pitching Prospect. Matt Cain-Obviously not a “Prospect” considering he has been in the Bigs for a while now. But Trade Rumors are swirling and teams may be willing to fork over some good stuff for him. I would expect a rise in his key cards which have reached rock bottom recently-IF HE GETS TRADED.

This is a prospect who did really well to finish off the year. His name is Evan Frey. He plays for Visalia Oaks (A Advanced D’Backs). He started off the year in the Midwest League playing for the South Bend SilverHawks. With them he batted .327 with 29 RBIs batting leadoff. He then was promoted to Visalia and finished his year there with a .297 AVG and 3 HR 18 RBIs and 17 SB. In his final 10 games of the year he hit .359 and drew 10 BB while striking out only 5 times.
